Brief presentation of the album Charm Scool in the Czech magazine Rock & Pop

The album`s recording took place in southern Sweden and in Stockholm in co- production with Clarence Öfwermana Christoffer Lundquist and Marie. Charm School is a spectacular return after 10 years of difficult life tests as Maria sings in one of the most quintessential songs on the album - No One Makes It On Her Own. The eighth studio album contains twelve tracks and can best be described as "Roxette classic with modern disguise, from the introductory Way Out to the final Sitting On Top Of The World. Roxette are reunited only on the podium. It was at the concert in Amsterdam`s Per Party Crasher solo tour, where Per together with Marie sang the hits It Must Have Been Love and The Look. A true comeback was followed by a tour at Night Of The Proms, in which Roxette appears as the star for more than 600,000 viewers from Netherlands, Belgium and Germany.

"At that time we started to think about it, we recorded a new album, an album that resembled a good old Roxette, but it sounded modern." says Per. There were no time to spear  after such a long absence and the hotel room, where the band stayed during the tour, turned into a recording studio, where they began to work the first outline of the new songs. Work continued at home in Sweden during the last autumn and the beginning of this year. Listening the new material it feels like time travel. Sounds like in the past and yet so modern. In many cases that`s good, but it happens that sometimes the music gowns too modern. The first single She's Got Nothing On (But The Radio) makes Roxette one of the most played pop band: catchy song, a sense of humor , the unique mixture Per -  Marie and all with a touch of groove. Musical story lines are varied and do not suffer from sterility. Pleiades of great tunes, and also bullish calm pace and voice synchronization and especially the balance is in the right note. The songs make us hear them over and over until we go crazy.

With the release of the duo Marie Fredriksson - Per Gessle, will start  a world tour which will begin in Russia. For now, the tour includes stops in Brazil, South Africa, Germany, Sweden, Greece, Chile, Argentina and Mexico. One of the concert of course will include the Czech fans, who will also see a stop in Prague on  June 5th ,2011 at O2 Arena.

Also do not forget the Deluxe Edition album Charm School, because it will include a second disc with ten live tracks that were taken during last year's concert in Halmstad, Stavanger and St. Petersburg. So what  a successful comeback and if the pop blood flows, surely there will be a new record, followed by a concert.
